(1931-1939)
The antique tractor era includes tractors in production from 1931 to 1939. Following the Pre-30 Era farmers were looking for smaller, efficient, low cost, and easy to handle tractors. During this period the leading Manufacturer was International Harvester followed by John Deere. Other popular brands included Massey-Ferguson, Allis Chalmers, Oliver, and Minneapolis-Moline. These firms would go on to make almost all the wheel-tractors in the United States from 1930 through 1955.
