Tractor Info

1935-1938

The BWH followed the BNH and was a wide version of the BNH. It had many of the same features but used front-end equipment similar to the BW-40. The optional seven or thirteen-inch extensions from the BW-40 were used, along with special front axle knees that added three inches of clearance at the front end. As a result of some demand, Deere built a special narrow version of the BWH, called the BWH-40. It can be identified by its narrow rear axle equipment that is similar to the BW-40. BHW-40 was for customers who grew crops in 20-inch rows on 40-inch beds but could be used for other crop configurations by adjusting the tread out to a max of 80 inches.
