Tractor Info

1935-1938

Introduced late in 1934 as a 1935 model, the Model B was a medium-sized tractor, able to pull a plow with two twelve-inch bottoms. It had steel wheels, four speeds forward and reverse, and a belt pulley and a PTO, which was a splined shaft at the rear of the tractor powering implements, as standard equipment. Rubber tires on either the front, back, or both were available as an option, as well as a hydraulic power lift. The unstyled model had no grills or other sheet metal covering the radiator. Only the first 2,000 tractors built had a “four-bolt” front pedestal. Instead of the eventual eight, the steering post in front of the radiator was bolted to the frame with just four bolts.
