Tractor Info

1939-1951

Cleveland Tractor Company introduced their little HG crawler in 1939, and Oliver kept in production until 1951. Clevland Tractor sent the HG to Nebraska in August 1939, with the results appearing in Test No. 324. This model used a Hercules four-cylinder engine the same engine that Clevland Tractor used in the GG rubber-tired tractor. However, the latter had disappeared from the scene by the time of the Oliver takeover in 1944. The original HG tractor with teh 3 x 4 Hercules engine was capable of about 11 drawbar horsepower.
