Massey-Harris

Massey-Harris began around July of 1891. It was formed by Massey Manufacturing Company and A. Harris Son & Company coming together. They were, at the time, the largest agricultural equipment maker in the British Empire. Around 1910 the company acquired  the Johnston Harvester Company in New York which made it one of Canada’s first multinational firms. Some of the company’s early tractors included the 20 horsepower Massey-Harris GP 15/22, the 25 horsepower Massey-Harris Pacemaker, the Massey-Harris Pony, and more.
