The 44 Special offered a bored-out gasoline engine which increased the displacement over the 44. The 44 Special was aviable in standard, row-crop, cane, and rice configurations. It was also avialbe with the options of diesel, distillate, and LP-gas engines. This tractor was able to respond to havier loads quickly and do so on less fuel.
