1921-1927
The Bates Model F, 18-25 emerged in 1921 and remained in production until 1937. Three different four-cylinder engines were used during this time. The first was a Midwest 4 1/8 x 5 1/4 inch model used from 1921 to 1925. Beaver engines with a 4 1/4 x 6-inch bore and stroke were standard from 1926 to 1928, and from 1929 to 1937, the Model F used a LeRoi 4 1/4 x 6-inch motor. Two forward speeds were provided.
