Tractor Info

1912

Electric Wheel Company supplemented their tractor line with the “ No. 1” in late 1912. It was a large tractor with 30 drawbar and 45 brake horsepower. The engine was mounted crosswise on the built-up structural steel frame. A full canopy enhanced the appearance of the machine in addition to its primary purpose of protecting both the tractor and its operator from the elements. Weighing 9,500 pounds, the No. 1 had an excellent weight-to-horsepower ratio for a 1912 model.
