Tractor Info

1911-1913

Production of the Mogul Jr. 25 horsepower tractor began in 1911. Basically it was a single-cylinder version of the Mogul 30-60, using the same styling and design. In fact, the front and rear wheels were of the same dimensions as the 30-60 model. Total weight was 15,400 pounds. By varying the engine speed, road travel could be varied from 1.8 to 2.06 MPH. Special accessories included a self-steering device for plowing. Extension rims could be obtained for the front and rear wheels, and a Solar acetylene headlight was available at extra cost. Production of the Mogul Jr. tractors during 1911-1913 totalled 812 units, with a peak of 683 built in 1912. All were produced at Tractor Works. During 1913, the Mogul Jr. 25 horsepower model was re-rated as the Mogul 15-30, a tractor of identical design.
