Tractor Info

1943-1947

In 1943 a John Deere dealer in Yakama Washington owned by Jessie Lindeman ordered John Deere model BO without wheels and placed the chassis on tracks thus creating the first mass produced BO Lindeman crawler program. Several pages could be written about the “BO” tractor chassis that were shipped to the Lindemann brothers at Yakima, Washington. The Lindemann brothers mounted these units on crawler tracks, and eventually the so-called John Deere-Lindemann crawlers emerged.
