A structural steel frame was used on this model with a completely hooded design. During the year of 1918 the tractor was modified with an all-cast frame the tractor was then known for a time as the 9-18 B. Shortly after the framde modification Case raised the engine speed to 1,050 rpms and re-rated this tractor as the 10-18.
