1911

Walter J. McVicker and McVicker Engineering Company
designed the first “ Minneapolis Farm Motor”. Although
this pilot model had a crude, unfinished look, it was well
built. Cooling was effected by a tubular radiator with an
induced draft from the engine exhaust. In 1911, twenty five
of these tractors were built under a contract with
Northwest Thresher Company, Stillwater, Minnesota.
