The Leader Model “ D” was presented in the early 1950s. It weighed only 2,500 pounds and featured a Hercules IXB-5, four-cylinder engine with a 133 CID. Rated to pull two 12-inch plows, the Leader was well suited for truck farming and other light duties. A belt pulley and power take-off shaft were both standard equipment.
