Tractor Info

1958-1963

Oliver 770 tractors saw first light in 1958. This model was a major revision of the earlier Super 77, and the ancestry can be traced back even further to the Oliver 77 model. This model carried a six-cylinder engine with a 3 1/2 x 3 3/4 inch bore and stroke. Gasoline, LP-gas, and diesel versions were available. The gasoline model used a 7.3 to 1 compression ratio, and all styles carried the valve-in-head design customary in virtually all the Oliver models. Oliver 770 diesel tractors carried a 16.0 to 1 compression ratio.
