Tractor Info

1946-1952

Production of the Oliver 900 Industrial tractor began in 1945 and concluded in 1951. This model used the same basic four-cylinder engine with 4 3/4 x 6 1/4 inch bore and stroke that had been used on the 28-44 model. However, in this instance, the compression ratio was raised to 5.1:1, and the speed was raised from 1,125 rpm to 1,200 rpm. These changes yielded approximately 64 belt horsepower. The four-speed transmission had speeds ranging up to 16 mph.
