Tractor Info

1948-1954

Oliver 77 Standard tractors were built during the same 1948-54 period as the 77 Row-Crop models. The 77 Standard with HC gasoline engine was tested at Nebraska in October 1948 under No. 405. A similar model with a diesel engine appears in Test No. 457 of May 1951. Fully equipped, the gasoline model was priced at $2,411, while the 77 Diesel Standard sold for $2,950. Many different devices could be attached using the threaded pads at the front of the tractor. The diesel model was virtually identical to the gasoline style, save for the different engines.
