Tractor Info

1947-1948

Oliver had developed an entirely new tractor, the Oliver 88. Oliver had been working on various aspects of a new tractor line for several years. Unfortunately, World War Two intervened, and all but the most essential design work came to a halt in the interim. However, this new six-cylinder model incorporated many new features, including the live PTO shaft and an entirely new hydraulic system. The experimental model used the old-style streamlined grille, along with ordinary front wheel rims. Both were modified shortly after.
