From 1957 to 1962 the Ford 681 was in production. Also apart of the 601 Workmaster series this tractor had the most features in the series. This tractor was equipped with a Select-o-speed transmission and an independent dual speed power take-off. This tractor was equipped with either a Ford 2.2L 4 cylinder gasoline engine, a Ford 2.4L 4 cylinder diesel engine, or a Ford 2.2L 4 cylinder LP gasoline engine. These tractors had a 4×2 2WD chassis, a 10-speed full power shift transmission, and manual steering with optional power assist. In production out of Highland Park, Michigan these tractors were originally priced at $3,231.
