The 584 was produced in the Doncaster, England factory and was available in utility, row crop, MFWD, and low profile variations. It replaced the 574. The PTO remained the same because an increase in governed rpm from 2200 to 2300 compensated for the reduced displacement of the D-206 engine. It continued to use the eight-speed synchromesh transmission.
