Tractor Info

1946-1953

In production in Bedford, Ohio this tractor was the gasoline version of the 49 models. It ran on a Continential F-162 L-Head engine. It had a 4×2 2 WD chassis, an open operators station, and mechanical drum brakes. For a couple of years, ending about 1951, Brockway built the “49G” and “49D” models. Both had the same chassis, but the 49-G used an F-162 Continental engine, and the 49-D used a Continental GD-157 diesel. Both were two plow tractors and utilized a planetary gear speed change.
