Slightly larger than the MF 230 was the MF 235. It was a utility tractor with either a Perkins 2.5L three-cylinder diesel or Continental 2.4L four cylinder gasoline 4×2 2WD engine. It had a mechanical rear differential lock, manual steering or power steering, differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes, and an open operator station. An optional two-post ROPS and canopy were available. Transmissions were available with six-speed gear, eight-speed gear, and twelve-speed partial power shift. It was featured in a regular version or a special orchard and vineyard model
