The Ford 2000 was in production from 1962 to 1975 in Highland Park, Michigan. This tractor featured either a Ford 2.2L 4 cylinder gasoline engine or a Ford 2.4L 4 cylinder diesel engine. These tractors had a 4×2 2WD chassis and either a 4-speed, 5-speed,10-speed, or 12-speed transmission. The later produced (1965-1975) Ford 2000 carried the same name but it was an entirely different machine. The Ford 2000 (1965-1975) featured either a Ford 2.6L 3 cylinder gasoline engine or a Ford 2.6L 3 cylinder diesel engine.
