Originally built with a G-226 gasoline engine or a Perkins diesel engine with at least a 236 cubic inch engine, it is indicated that Serial No. 2151 and up a Perkins 248 cubic inch engine was used which was almost identical except it used a 3.975 inch bore. One feature to this tractor was the open chamber design which offered easy starting and even combustion.
