Model Information
1901-1906
A 17-30 Hart-Parr was offered from 1903 to 1906. Fifteen were sold the first year. The 17-30 was a continuation of the No. 3, 18-30 model. Although it weighed some 7 1/4 tons, a close look at the rear wheels makes it obvious that the 17-30 was designed primarily for belt work, and not for plowing or other heavy drawbar jobs. An exhaust-induced draft was provided by nozzles directed into the vertical radiator stack.
