Apparently, the 1600 four-wheel-drive model was not available until 1963. This model was built in gasoline and diesel versions, with the latter being priced at $7,800, and about $700 less for the gasoline style. The latter was also available with LP-gas equipment at $330 over the base price for a comparable gasoline tractor. From all appearances, Oliver built a minimal number of LP-gas tractors, and it also appears that the special modifications required to the hood and sheet metal work were done on a custom basis in the Oliver shops
