Oliver’s 1600 Diesel tractor delivered nearly 58 PTO horsepower in Nebraska Test No. 840. This model was rated at 1,900 rpm; it also was designed with a compression ratio of 16.25 to 1. Displacement was 265 ci. While the regular row-crop style with a dual front sold for about $5,100 with a diesel engine, the comparable tractor with a gasoline motor listed at $4,500.
