Tractor Info

1924-1927

The Hart-Parr 16-30 “ E” was one of the most popular tractors of the lightweight series. A Robert Bosch magneto provided plenty of fire to the two 6 1/2 x 7-inch cylinders. All parts were easily accessible. The large crankcase cover is obvious in this photograph. A pressed paper friction pulley in contact with the engine flywheel operated the radiator cooling fan. The Hart-Parr preheat system for burning kerosene was augmented by the addition of water into the cylinder to retard premature ignition or “pinging”.
