Industry listings show the Oliver 1555 under the
White Farm Equipment heading, and indeed, the
company sometimes listed this model as the White-
Oliver 1555. First built in 1969, the 1555 remained in
the lineup until 1975. During 1971 it was also sold as
the Minneapolis-Moline G550; the latter company
having come under the WFE umbrella. The 1555 was
available in Row-Crop, Utility, and High-Clearance
models. Within the Row-Crop category it could be
equipped with dual front, narrow-tread adjustable
front axle, regular adjustable front axle, and single
front wheel designs. It was also available in a short
wheel base version.
