The 1555 was a row crop tractor that was the same as the Oliver 1555. It had two engine options, a Waukesha-Oliver 3.8L six-cylinder diesel or a Waukesha-Oliver 3.8L six cylinder gasoline engine. Both were 4×2 2WD with power steering, disc brakes, a twelve-speed partial shift transmission or a six-speed unsynchronized gear transmission, and an open operator station with an optional heated cab.
