Tractor Info

1924-1928

Beginning in 1924, a new 12-24 Model E was introduced. Weighing 4,300 pounds, it was a modified version of the 10-20 series. A disk clutch replaced the old band clutch used on earlier models. Madison-Kipp force-feed lubricators used on the Hart-Parr tractors provided thorough lubrication. Overflow pipes in the bottom of the crankcase channeled the excess oil into the steel enclosures around the final drive gears. Hart-Parr claimed this method would increase engine life.
