Franklin Tractor Co.

Franklin developed a crawler tractor that was listed in 1920 as the “Franklin Flexible” It was rated 15-30 and used an Erd four-cylinder motor. The operator probably thought he was straddling a pogo stick when he was in the spring-mounted seat on this rig.

It is unclear when or how the Franklin Tractor Company was formed but they listed their first tractor, a crawler, in 1920. The Franklin people got together with the Bullock enterprises at Chicago, and the Franklin-Bullock Tractor Company emerged.
