Aultman & Taylor Machinery Co

Cornelius Aultman and Henry H. Taylor organized the Aultman Taylor & Company in 1867. C. Aultman & Company built primarily vibrator threshers and was located in Canton, Ohio. Around 1892 the company was reorganized as the Aultman & Taylor Machinery Company. They produced steam engines, threshers, and other farm machines. In 1910 Gas tractors were added to their line.

Financial issues were prevalent in the company and in January of 1924 Advance-Rumely Thresher Company acquired Aultman-Taylor. This included all the patents, property, and designs. Advance-Rumely advertised Aultman-Taylor as an Advance-Rumely to dispose of the remaining inventory, no other tractors or other machines were built after the takeover.
