Mr. Allen Breed spent several years designing and testing his ideas. Finally, in 1913 the Allen Breed Tractor Company was formed and introduced a large 30 horsepower outfit with three forward speeds and one reverse. The auto guide steering was a departure from the chain and bolster steering than in vogue.
In 1913, Mr. Allen Breed organized the Allen Breed Tractor Company in Cincinnati Ohio to build and market his tractor, They occupied the plant of the old Cellular Steel Company. Apparently, the venture barely got off the ground, since no advertisements appear after mid-1914.
