Holton advertised a 10-16 model in 1920. It was a tricycle type, but not a row crop machine. Two plows could be hitched beneath the tractor. The operator was given an upholstered seat, quite an improvement over straddling one of the cast iron jobs, especially in cold weather. The Holten used a motor identical to that used in many other small tractors and motor cultivators.
Holton came along in 1920 and it seems in the same year all holdings of the Holton Tractor Company were taken over by Elwood Haynes of the Haynes Automobile Company, other Kokomo business men and George J. Marott. They had filed for articles of incorporation for the Haynes Tractor Company.
