Tractor Info

1920-?

Holton came along in 1920 with a 10-16 model. It was a tricycle type, but not a row-crop machine. Two plows could be hitched beneath the tractor. The operator was given an upholstered seat — quite an improvement over straddling one of those cast iron jobs — especially in cold weather. The Holton used a four-cylinder Le Roi 3 1/8 x 4 1/2 inch motor, identical to that used in many other small tractors and motor cultivators.
