1910-1927

The Pioneer “30” featured a four-cylinder horizontal opposed engine with a 7 inch bore and 8 inch stroke. Proof of the vibrationless motor was  carried in an advertising photo showing a coin balanced on the frame of the tractor while a photographer took a one minute time exposure. With its 24 x 96 inch drivers, the Pioneer “ 30” was an impressive sight. The cab was enclosed with windows and a back curtain. List price for 1911 was $2,700. The “30” was listed yet in 1927, the last year the company was represented in the tractor directories.
