Tractor Info

1929

The greyhound tractors were often reffered to as being light, strong, and durable. These tractors were essentially the Allis-Chalmers 20-35. Around 1928-1929 the company made some major changes to the tractors. The piston bore was increased to 5 inches, rpm was boosted to 1000, and the horsepower was increased to 25-52 from 20-35. These increases in power resulted in Banting having to recast the radiator tank to add another 4 inches in height.
