Model Information
1920
The “ Klumb Model F” was introduced by Dubuque Tractor & Truck in 1920. Rated at 16 drawbar and 32 brake horsepower, it featured a Climax four-cylinder L-head engine with a 5 x 6 1/2 inch bore and stroke. The chassis was of a rather unusual offset design with a cross-mounted engine. The cross mount sign provided straight line gearing and simplified the machine. Apparently, this tractor was in some way connected with Mr. Paul Klumb who had organized a gas engine company at Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1913.
