Tractor Info

The W-4 was a standard tread tractor manufactured in Rock Island, Illinois. Both engines were 4×2 2WD with manual steering, differential mechanical external contracting band brakes, five-speed sliding gear transmission, and an open operator station. The W-4 was the standard tread version of the Farmall H. Its variants included the H row crop, the I-4 industrial, and the O-4 orchard.
