Tractor Info

1921-1922

The Union Sure-Grip tractor was listed in 1921 and 1922. Weighing five tons, it had a 12-25 horsepower rating, derived from Union’s own four-cylinder, 4 3/4 x 6-inch engine. The motor was complemented by an Ensign carburetor of special design, along with a Splitdorf ignition system. Obviously, the driver’s seat is a spring-mounted affair, riding it was probably like straddling a bucking bronco!
