Model Information
1913-1920
The 60-95 was manufactured in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It had a 36.5L six-cylinder kerosene engine and a one-speed transmission. Although some authorities consider this to be an experimental model, the Twin City catalog illustrates this “Flat Wheel Attachment”. It never attained great popularity but was indicative of the need for a tracklayer machine, a need to which Holt, Best, and others had addressed themselves for some years. Although no price figures or weights are available on this special outfit, the standard 40-65 model weighed 25,550 pounds and sold for
$4,900 in 1917.
