Tractor Info

1919-1926

The 12-20 was a standard tread tractor manufactured in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It had a Twin City 5.6L four-cylinder kerosene engine. It was a 4×2 2WD with manual steering, two-speed transmission, and an open operator station. A remarkable feature of the Twin City 12-20 was the four-cylinder, sixteen-valve engine. This was the first time such a design had been applied to a farm tractor. Two intake and two exhaust valves were provided for each cylinder, and two camshafts were used. Announced in 1919, the 12-20 was designated as the 17-28 model in 1927.
