Model Information
1916
The poor sales performance of the Standard-Detroit tractor was more than offset by their “ Tracford’’ tractor attachment. It was designed especially for Henry Ford’s Model T. A great many of these attachments were advertised, but the Tracford was probably the best known of all. Although the idea looked good, it didn’t amount to much, since the Model T had neither the radiator nor the cooling system to tolerate heavy work.
