1913
Beginning in 1913, G. W. Elliott & Son offered their “Dakota” tractor. A 25 and a 40 horsepower model were shown in 1913, but the 1914 line only included a 5-12 horsepower size and a 10-20. Both sizes used a four-cylinder engine. The 1916 line included the Dakota No. 1 rated as a 7-10, weighing 2,700 pounds, and priced at $935. The Dakota No. 2 weighed 4,300 pounds, cost $1,500, and carried a 14-18 horsepower rating.
