Tractor Info

1940-1956

Introduced in 1939, by the time production ended in 1956 Harvester had produced 58182 T-9 and TS-9 crawlers. Some of the T-9 and TD-9 modified tractors were also manufactured for specific applications. McCormick tool bars greatly expanded farm applications to the T-9 and TD-9 crawler tractors. Improved hydraulics gave fingertip control, and improved steering clutches and a comforable seat minmized operator fatigue. ON 100% maximum load the TD-9 consumed 3.28 gallons of fuel per hour, corresponding to 14.24 horsepower hours per gallon of fuel. On the maximum drawbar pull, slippage was limited to 4.17%.
