Tractor Info

1915

In 1915, Union Iron Works announced that they were “manufacturing a small tractor, weighing 1,600 pounds, with 12 B.H.P.” This outfit was of the gearless type, being devoid of gears, chains, and sprockets. The design was unique but more or less impractical. As late as May 1918, Union Iron Works was still advertising their gearless tractor.
