Shortly after the Plymouth tractor was introduced there was a a legal dispute over the Plymouth name. Fate-Root-Heath would go on to sell the rights of the Plymouth name to Chrysler. Due to the Silver color of their tractors and the compnay beliving they were the king of tractors the name Silverking was developed.
