Model Information
1916-?
The Pioneer “Pony” appeared about 1916 and was advertised for one season. Rated as a 15-30, it had a four cylinder engine, but only one drive wheel. Pioneer pointed out that their 5 x 6 inch motor provided ample power without excessive speed. No doubt about it — the “Pony” was designed to meet the small tractor trade. This is evidenced first by the design, secondly by the 5,500 pound weight, and thirdly by the S765 price.
