The PH-40 was offered in 1951 and was equipped with six 3 1/4 x 4 3/8 inch cylinders. Steering was
through two brakes located on the planetary gear system,
hand operated, either individually or simultaneously by a
master control. The unit was forward controlled, with the
engine in the rear, giving the operator excellent visibility
forward, but making it virtually impossible to see the
plows or other towed implements. This unit was rated at
three-plow capacity.
