Tractor Info

1929-1952

The United Tractor & Equipment Co. was organized in 1929. Composed of some 32 independent implement manufacturers and distributors, United marketed the Allis-Chalmers Model U tractor under their own name, both in the general purpose and industrial models. Since the tractors differed primarily in the name cast into the radiator, illustrations of both the Allis-Chalmers Model U and the United tractors may appear among the industrial versions. Shown here is the A-C Ind“U’’strial tractor equipped with steel wheels.
